'Frost Aster'

Autumn is the Asters season. They bloomed in abundance everywhere, in every color and size. Of course I'm attracted to the smallest of them so I could fit more than just center disc and parts of the petals in the frame. Those are barely 8 mm in diameter.


It's probably the Awl Aster, also called Frost Aster (Symphyotrichum pilosum).


<sub>Although it also could be the Heath Aster or Panicled Aster or Calico Aster - they all look very similar and botanist I am not.
